Yesterday, Resilient Project UPSTART apprenticeship candidates had the opportunity to tour Uber’s Chicago Talent Hub at the historic Old Post Office! When Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago shared their ambitious goal for the number of diverse suppliers on their 135,000-sf office in Chicago’s Old Post Office, our team said, “Nothing’s impossible, bring it on.” Surpassing the initial 50% goal, the Executive Construction team used 20 different diverse contractors—81% of the project spend going to women-, veteran-, and minority-owned businesses.
