ECI Donates Gently-Used Ties to George Westinghouse College Prep

Dan Mostyn, a former Executive Construction employee, is a science department teacher at George Westinghouse College Prep. Dan is teaching an engineering class.  The class and curriculum is centered around small teams performing year-long service projects in the community that involve math, science, or technology where students apply what they learn in class about design, scheduling, project management and communication.  Each project has a “client” in the community and the students will have monthly meetings, create schedules, do meeting minutes, etc. with their client.  Dan would like his student teams to wear ties when they go out to meet with their clients that they are serving with their project.  Dan has created a library for his students to check out ties if they need them since 80% of them qualify for free lunches.  Most people in business have a tie or two that they don’t use anymore.  Executive Construction is donating a bin of gently-used ties for Dan’s students.  Way to go Professor Dan!
