Digital Crossroad


New construction of a 105,000-sf data center features (4) 3.25MW medium voltage gen sets; (4) 5000A switchboards; and (9) 1500KW UPS’s configured in a distributive redundant scheme to support downstream critical equipment. Additional scope includes a standalone central plant pulling water from Lake Michigan to supply (32) 100 ton AHU. The mechanical plant and AHUs are supported by a dedicated electrical line up made up of (2) 5000A switchboards; (16) 1600A distribution boards protected by dual fed ATSs; and backed up by (1) 3.25MW gen.


This 25-acre site took on major upgrades and installations including all new dry and wet utilities; medium voltage duct banks; access roads; site lighting; forced mains; and a perimeter security fence with controlled access gates securing the site.
