This 60,000-sf, two-floor tenant buildout included conference rooms on half of the 42nd floor; along with training rooms; IDF; and a communicating stair from the 42nd to 43rd floor. The multi-phased renovation and expansion of the space included a refresh of the 43rd floor, with demolition and buildout of the HR and marketing suite. As well, 70 new trading desk locations through the raised-floor trading area are supported by supplemental cooling and power.
A complex build of highly customized construction and finishes demanded intricate trade coordination of the custom metal and wood panels and ceilings. Given this was work in an occupied space, and on an active trading floor, careful planning and execution was required to ensure no interruptions to critical power, supplemental cooling, or daily trader activities.
