It is the responsibility of an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to assist a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive and/or Vice President with an assigned project. It is imperative that the APM become familiar with all of Executive Construction’s Policies and Procedures and embrace our Core Values. In this developmental stage, the APM will develop and become proficient at the following Project Management duties, supporting his/her direct Supervisor, promoting the interest of Executive Construction in all matters.
Reports To: The Assistant Project Manager reports directly to a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive and/or Vice President.
Preconstruction / Estimating / Bidding
- Visit project sites to familiarize yourself with existing site conditions
- Identify trades required to complete the project / budget / bid
- Prepare trade bid lists of qualified trade contractors
- Prepare quantity take-offs, as required
- Manage the distribution of budget / bidding documents (drawings / specifications) to the trade contractors
- Review trade budgets / bids, confirming responses are in accordance with project documents and inclusive of all required scope
- Become efficient at compiling detailed trade scope sheets for bid review
- Assist supervisor in the final completion of a budget / bid
- Become familiar with Executive Construction’s Self-Perform Group and develop skills to understand how to best leverage this benefit to our customers
- Become familiar with General Conditions and what is included within these costs
- Develop understanding of construction sequence and become proficient in generating detailed project schedules, and identifying and tracking long lead items for material
Contracts / Proposals
- Become familiar with the contract types that are typically entered into with Executive Construction’s clients, understanding the contractual variations of each (LS Contract vs. GMP (at Risk), etc.)
Purchasing
- Assist supervisor in utilizing detailed trade scope sheets completed during the trade bidding phase, review for accuracy, and confirm that all applicable scope accounted for
- Assist in the preparation of detailed purchase orders and subcontract agreements; and develop an understanding of the importance of timely and accurate trade contract issuances, coordinated with the project schedule and material procurement
- Formulate submittal tracking log, review submittals for contract compliance, and distribute to all impacted team members. Manage timely submittals to comply with the project schedule and material lead times.
Job Management
- Participate in job startup meetings / weekly progress meetings
- Coordinate job meeting minutes, agenda, etc. with supervisor
- Develop public speaking and presentation skills to effectively manage and run weekly meeting
- Develop knowledge of Viewpoint and cost tracking protocols to properly manage the finances of the Project
- Assist in the solicitation of change order pricing from trade contractors, review for accuracy and completeness, and track and monitor with oversight from supervisor
- Assist in the preparation and track Requests for Information, understanding the urgency for timely response in compliance with schedule milestones
- Make every effort to visit the job site daily, or as many times a week as possible, to observe progress, witness Means & Methods for construction activities, track schedule, and communicate with and support the Superintendent
- Develop awareness for quality control and safety protocol while walking the project site
- Assistant in gathering and preparing closeout documentation, as required
Technology
- Develop skills in project management software, including Viewpoint, On-Screen, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
Accounting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly invoices, walking the project and confirming percent complete of each trade contractor billing for the month

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible to support Senior Superintendents on assigned projects in order to complete the work on time, within budget, and to the highest quality while serving as Executive Construction’s field representative. In the performance of this role, the Assistant Superintendent will learn various trade disciplines and means and methods; protect and promote the interest of Executive Construction in all matters; interface with the client / owner; design and real estate partners; building representatives; and vendor and trade contractors; and take action as required to execute the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Preconstruction

REPORTS TO
The Controller reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
RESPONSIBILITIES
It is the responsibility of the Controller to supervise the day-to-day operations of the Accounting department. The Controller is also responsible for all General Ledger (G/L) accounts and activity for ECHI and all subsidiaries (including 235 Fencl LLC, Fencl Partners and Executive Construction Foundation) and to take actions as required to perform the following duties.
Supervisory
- Oversee timely billing of jobs on a monthly basis
- Monitor payroll and monthly union reports
- Understand status of sub payouts by monitoring the money-collected list, waiver-collection list, and checks being held
- Understand and communicate status of Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Maintain and analyze charts for PM / Management on collection and billing status
- Update “Monday morning Accounts Receivable chart”
- Communicate issues to project teams and the Management Team
General Ledger
Monthly Repsonsibilities
- Reconcile G/L accounts; i.e., A/R, Accounts Payable (A/P), cash, job costs, and billings
- Prepare monthly reports for the CFO / Management Team
- Review G&A ledger against budget
Quarterly Responsibilities
- Reconcile G/L accounts (ALL G/L accounts)
- Review Quarterly PM reconciliation reports for all active projects
- Prepare Work-In-Progress schedule
- Review G&A ledger against budget; adjust G&A forecast
- Assist CFO in preparing financial reports
- Prepare quarterly financial statements for all companies
- Prepare job cost entries for safety and builders’ risk charges
Annual Responsibilities
- Develop annual cash flow projection with quarterly updates
- All year-end-close activities for all companies
- Prepare annual G&A budget forecast
- Assist with property and casualty insurance renewals by preparing all applications and projections for year-end payroll and sales, and upcoming payroll and sales
Other Projects
- Develop billing rates and job cost rates to coincide with mandated union adjustments and workers’ compensation renewals
- Report jobs with Builder’s Risk Policies to insurance company
- Work with Tax Consultant for preparation of Quarterly tax payments (distributions) and Shareholder distributions
- On a monthly basis, prepare certain reports:
- Financial data snapshot report
- Superintendent time charged to G&A
- Trade contractor awards
- Oversee the reporting of 401k deferral and matching amounts weekly to Vanguard
- Annual reporting of 401k profit sharing adder to Vanguard
- Oversee the completion of Federal, as well as various state’s withholdings and unemployment reports
- Complete state sales tax reports as needed
- Manage state licenses and the expiration dates
- Manage corporate accounts for American Express, Wex Gas, and I-Pass
- Prepare various financial schedules as directed by the CFO or other Principals
Communication
- Main contact to outside financial partners; i.e., bankers, auditors, and tax personnel
- Prepare all audit / tax schedules for annual audit / tax reporting
- Serve as the contact between the audit team and Project Managers
- Monitor and report all Builder’s Risk jobs
- Includes tracking cost estimates given to Project Managers
- Support and interact with Project Managers on a daily basis

REPORTS TO

JOB DESCRIPTION
It is the responsibility of a Project Accountant to prepare client invoices and assists the Accounting Manager with tasks relating to the general ledger, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll expense, and accrual accounts. In the performance of this role, the Project Accountant is responsible to protect and promote the interest of Executive Construction in all matters and to take actions as required to perform the following duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare client invoices for 5-7 Project Managers (PMs)

The Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Engineer manages the planning, visualization, and computer modeling of building projects. They work closely with project executives, superintendents, project managers, engineers, BIM modelers, architects, and clients to create a cohesive construction plan and support field operations. In the performance of this role, the VDC Engineer will become a strategic asset within a growing business unit and is responsible to protect and promote the interest of Executive Construction in all matters and to take actions as required to perform the following duties
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in the Architecture Engineering Construction (AEC) industry, in particular, architectural, structural, and MEP coordination
A degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
Minimum 3+ years of experience with VDC / BIM related processes
Solid knowledge of construction principles and practices required
Strong understanding of project workflow
Experience dealing with subcontracts, trade contractors, and/or self-perform work is a plus
Ability to make reliable and accurate conclusions based on gathered information
Ability to educate project team on software and workflows utilized throughout the construction process
Ability to read and understand contract documents and drawings
Must be willing and able to travel nationwide and relocate (?) to a jobsite

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to produce 2D- and 3D-construction models from base information per project documents under immediate supervision
Utilize collaboration system (Navisworks) to coordinate model content with other project trades
Work with supervision to learn and understand the VDC process and procedures, as well as project specific requirements
Attend meetings that are applicable to the scope of work, as required
Participate in the evaluation of any new software and upgrades of existing software
Assist with reality capture; i.e., 3D Laser Scan, Matteport, photos, and drone work; in the field, as needed
TECHNOLOGY
3+ years of experience with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks in a professional environment
Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Building Design Suite; i.e., Revit, Assemble Systems, AutoCAD, Navisworks, 3DS Max; Reconstruct; VICO Office; and BIM 360 cloud-based technology
Experience with reality capture, in particular, FARO Systems
