500 West Monroe’s Stunning Lobby Renovation

Our team recently completed a stunning lobby renovation at 500 West Monroe that features a new curtainwall entrance; multi-tiered, curved ceilings; high-end furniture; and massive custom-made, hand-sewn rugs imported from overseas—a truly inviting space for building tenants and guests.

This dynamic project required extensive #logistics planning and coordination to work in the heavily occupied building. Thanks to Spear Street Capital for trusting us as their GC, and all partners involved for their collaboration on this complex renovation: Wright Heerema Architects, Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP, Environmental Systems Designs, and JLL.

Over the weekend, we partnered together with Love Your Neighbor on an impactful delivery for Naomi’s House—a nonprofit ministry of The Moody Church that provides tailored support to sexually trafficked victims and survivors—to furnish their new Elgin Outpatient Office.

The foundation to help these women heal is strengthened together. A special shoutout to BOS for their furniture donation; F3 Naperville for their labor to transport the items from the warehouse to the office; and Love Your Neighbor for their furniture placement, decorating talents, and coordination of another remarkable serve for the community. This week, we partnered together with United Airlines to deliver their 500 Volunteer Day care packages from the Willis Tower to Share our Spare’s Sharehouse! Over 34,000 diapers, 1,000 bottles, 500 wipes, and 500 pacifiers later, we’re humbled to have joined forces with these two organizations to provide children in need the basics needed to thrive.

mHub’s New Innovation and Commercialization Center

Excited to officially kick off construction on mHUB’s new Innovation and Commercialization Center in Chicago’s Kinzie Industrial Corridor! The 2-acre site will increase mHUB’s prototyping and testing facilities to become the largest independent manufacturing innovation facility in the country.

Our VDC Department hit the ground running early-on with an accurate architectural and structural Revit / BIM model, and laser scan of existing space. We appreciate mHUB’s trust on this significant build, and are proud to work alongside JLL, Syska Hennessy, and Gensler to make it happen!
