Giving Back

We recognize the good fortune we have experienced both as a company and as individuals, and seek ways to connect with each other and build our community. Therefore, it is our priority to give back with our energy, time, and corporate support to those who need assistance in the communities where we live and work. The Executive Construction Foundation collaborates with a variety of nonprofit organizations—whether educational, faith-based, or community-related—to bolster the charitable work they do to improve the lives of others.

Building a Better Community

As builders, we’re able to make an instant difference to our nonprofit partners when we use our construction skillset to enhance their facilities. Through our annual Adopt-a-Charity Program, we collaborate with the designated partner on a capital improvement workday that directly benefits their organization and those they serve. Whether the need is a fresh coat of paint, sensory garden, or sidewalk replacement for accessibility; our hard-working volunteer crew comprised of team members, trade contractors, and vendor partners complete the improvement over just a day or two.

Volunteers Pay it Forward

Great communities are strengthened through support of those in need. Volunteer activities are organized throughout the year for team members to pay it forward and enjoy time together outside of project collaborations. Opportunities include blood drives and quarterly events with the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Northern Illinois Food Bank; to donating time at local organizations like Share Our Spare to aid their mission to ensure every Chicagoland child has essentials that support their health and development.

Giving Back is in our DNA

Executive Construction offers our team members the opportunity to direct a portion of the Foundation’s giving through an annual fund. To foster a charitable spirit, the Team Member Giving Program broadens the Foundation’s impact, particularly to the causes that matter to our team members.

Building the Next Generation

An area of focus for us is the continued growth and diversity of the construction profession. From skilled trades people to project managers, we support a variety of local and regional organizations in their work to promote industry careers to high school and college students.

Become a Donor

We can’t do this alone, and are grateful for the generosity of our partners that donate to the Executive Construction Foundation each year. As a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Foundation supports the charitable giving we do, and provides a direct benefit to those that so generously participate. Details on the Foundation’s donor opportunities and sponsorship benefits are available here or you may contact us at 708.236.3300.
