Last week, our team partnered with Anixter Center to build a new garden and fence at one of their homes for individuals within the DeafBlind community. Our team is so proud and humbled to have built these residents a safe, private space to enjoy their new fragrant flowers and herbs.

This week, our team partnered with Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy (HRET) to build an ADA-compliant ramp that will assist children with disabilities to mount horses at their facility. The Executive Construction Foundation is proud to support HRET and their mission to empower the lives of individuals with varied physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities through the spirit of the horse. From a full training floor and demonstration rooms to a cafeteria that features a roof-top terrace, CDW’s new #WestLoop office really is the “future of work.”

Great ideas are developed together—from innovative design concepts to the executed 250,000-sf eight-floor buildout, it took an incredible team to bring this state-of-the-art space into reality! A rewarding collaboration between Partners by Design, Syska Hennessy Group, and JLL—we’re grateful to have been part of the team!

Every 2 seconds, someone needs blood, and just one donation can save 3 lives. To strengthen the community and make a difference through our #QuarterOfGiving, we partnered with Versiti to host our second blood drive this year. We’re thankful for our staff that donated 23 units of blood yesterday and potentially saved over 69 lives!

With the two drives we held this year, we collected a total of 41 units; thus, saving up to 124 lives in 2020!

In this great time of need, strong communities come together and #GetInvolved. This week, in support of our #QuarterOfGiving, our team volunteered at two Northern Illinois Food Bank events and a Greater Chicago Food Depository event and packed 16,574 pounds of food providing 13,811 meals for hungry neighbors in the Chicagoland area.

We’re proud to support the NIFB and GCFD, both members of our client Feeding America, and aid their mission to solve hunger.
