Nothing’s Impossible for Our VDC Team, Bring It On!

Our VDC team has successfully wrapped up twelve weeks of Laser Scanning at a vast 1.2 million square foot facility on the East Coast! Alongside a dedicated labor force, we conducted a thorough above-ceiling survey to document and track complex building systems, setting the stage for a future retrofit. Over 7,000 scans later, the data and point cloud-verified BIM models will guide the design partners on the incredibly intricate project.

 

Equipment highlight! We utilized the Navvis VLX for the below-ceiling architectural scan and the cutting-edge Faro Focus Premium terrestrial laser scanner for the above ceiling survey.

Did you know up to 50% of families return to homelessness within a year of securing housing? Humble Design ends this revolving door of homelessness by furnishing homes to create safe and empowering spaces.

Last week, our volunteer crew, along with our partners at Lombardi Electric, joined this mission and transformed a new home for a retired Veteran with new furniture, living essentials, and decorations. We were humbled to be able to make such an incredible impact.

Connecting Students With Tutors Who Care

We’re humbled to partner with Tutoring Chicago as our 2023 Adopt-a-Charity beneficiary, to amplify their work and connect them with our network of potential volunteer tutors. 

 

We recently had the pleasure to present $15,000 to Tutoring Chicago to aid their mission to pair individual students in grades 1-10 with a designated adult volunteer tutor. This regular, weekly instruction also provides these children a steady, supportive relationship. Our support will extend through the holiday season as we dedicate our annual team member giving drive to Tutoring Chicago’s holiday gift program.
