Our entire company came together for our annual Field Appreciation event, a day dedicated to recognizing the incredible field team members who bring Executive Construction projects to life every day. Their skill, dedication, and commitment to safety are the foundation of our success, and we’re deeply grateful for the excellence they bring to every site.
Best of the best, we couldn’t do it without this team!
Returning to 1299 Zurich Way, we recently delivered Wheels, LLC’ new 215,000-square-foot headquarters across four floors, built to bring people together and fuel what’s next.
As highlighted in Office Snapshots, the new campus connects teams through inviting client spaces, dynamic collaboration zones, and brand-infused details that reflect Wheels’ forward-thinking spirit.
Creating environments where people and partnerships thrive is what drives us. This headquarters brings that vision to life, giving Wheels the space to keep moving forward.
✨ First impressions, built to impress. In the heart of Oak Brook, our team transformed Commerce Plaza’s lobbies and entries into bright, welcoming spaces that create an elevated arrival experience for employees and guests alike.
As Zeller’s trusted build partner, this was an exciting vision to bring to life—from reimagined entrances, corridors, and security desk to a vibrant main lobby with custom furniture and décor throughout.
👏 Cheers to our team and partners who made it happen!
Major progress is underway on The RDI Group’s new 30,000-SF facility addition. Structural steel and precast panels are now set in place, marking a milestone that reflects months of detailed planning, complex logistics, and a steadfast focus on safety.
⚙️ With dual crane bays built into the design, this addition is engineered to support RDI’s advanced manufacturing and fabrication for years to come.
Together with RDI and our partners, we’re delivering a space designed for today’s demands and ready for what’s next.
A giving back weekend with Love Your Neighbor—a nonprofit dedicated to helping families transition out of homelessness, domestic violence, and human trafficking.
This incredible effort was supported by F3 Naperville, Air Comfort , and a few from our team, as we came together to design and furnish a home for a local family, all in just one day.
We’re grateful to have played a small part in such meaningful work.
Welcome to FGM Architects’ new headquarters—a space that sparks creativity, collaboration, and connection.
We had the privilege of building a workplace designed for their team to thrive, featuring studio spaces, conference rooms, and a full kitchen and work café that bring the team together.
Working with FGM Architects for over 20 years has been an incredible journey. Delivering this office is more than a project. It’s a milestone in a partnership built on trust, shared vision, and the joy of creating spaces that inspire.
Here’s to spaces that wow and partnerships that last!
We gathered for our fourth annual Cotter Safety Stand Down, a moment of reflection, connection, and unwavering commitment to safety.
This tradition honors Brian Cotter, a respected craftsman and cousin to our Senior Superintendent, Tom Thies, who tragically lost his life in a construction-related incident in 2021. Though it didn’t happen on one of our sites, his story fuels our dedication to ensuring every person goes home safely.
As Tom led Friday’s stand-downs, he shared the meaning behind the cotter pin:
“I want the cotter pin to resonate with everyone—for me, it’s about improving my life and the lives of those around me. To make myself and those people safe.”
From jobsites across Chicago, crews paused to reflect and take part, each receiving a cotter pin hard hat sticker, a daily reminder of our shared responsibility and connection.
We’ve kicked off foundation work on The RDI Group’s new 30,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility in Itasca, designed to meet the needs of RDI’s growing business.
🚧 Full speed ahead onsite—aggregate piers are drilled, detention pond installed, and concrete is being placed. This expansion will also feature two crane bays, streamlining RDI’s manufacturing and fabrication efficiency.
⚙️ Known for their cutting-edge industrial systems and innovative engineering, RDI is setting a new standard with this facility—one designed to sharpen precision and power growth.
🗓️ Wrapping up this fall, our teams are gearing up soon to raise the structural steel.
We celebrated with the groundbreaking of Gateway Foundation’s Aurora Recovery Home—marking the beginning of a meaningful campus transformation rooted in hope, healing, and recovery.
The new 17,650-square-foot addition will provide 32 residential beds, welcoming community and dining areas, and dedicated spaces for quiet reflection—all designed to support individuals on their path to wellness in a safe and restorative environment.
We’re proud to continue our partnership with Gateway Foundation and help bring their mission to life through spaces that empower individuals and strengthen the Aurora community. As Board Member Larry Singer shared, “this is more than a construction project—it’s a critical step toward expanding care for the people of this region.”
Big news from 11 floors up—Phase 1 of the Pru amenity improvements are complete and ready to welcome current and prospective tenants! Stop in for a workout in the new fitness center, practice your golf swing at the new two-bay golf simulator suite or recover in the new cold plunge tubs and infrared saunas!
Thank you to all of our teammates that helped bring this vision to life!
