Showcasing Trades Careers to the Future Generation

Yesterday, Resilient Project UPSTART apprenticeship candidates had the opportunity to tour Uber’s Chicago Talent Hub at the historic Old Post Office! In line with this program’s mission to showcase construction trades as a viable career path, these students learned all about a day in the life of a Tradesperson.

When Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago shared their ambitious goal for the number of diverse suppliers on their 135,000-sf office in Chicago’s Old Post Office, our team said, “Nothing’s impossible, bring it on.” Surpassing the initial 50% goal, the Executive Construction team used 20 different diverse contractors—81% of the project spend going to women-, veteran-, and minority-owned businesses.

Packing 12,000 Pounds of Food For Hungry Neighbors

Givingback is in our DNA! We’re thankful for our team that recently volunteered at both the Northern Illinois Food Bank and Greater Chicago Food Depository. Together, we packed 12,000 pounds of food providing nearly 9,700 meals for hungry neighbors in the Chicagoland area.

The Steel and Walls Are Up at Consumers Credit Union

Construction continues to ramp up on Consumers Credit Union‘s new branch project in Arlington Heights! The structural steel and veneer walls are up, and as you can see in this video, we’ve successfully installed the building’s precast roof.

Reinventing the wheel is costly—after successfully delivering Oak Brook Reserve’s major redevelopment at 2715 Jorie Boulevard, we’re excited to kick off the significant building renovation down the street at 2915 Jorie Boulevard!
